Hola Hola Hola! As subba prepares to take over the world with a new site in construction and an editorial team who are willing to sleep with ANYONE to reach success, we can only really do what we seem to do week in, week out; bring you great interviews, reviews, competitions, news stories and well the usual subba nonsense. Granted, we don’t just cover one style of music, but surely that’s a positive thing, it’s not a case of jack of all trades, master of none, more a case of an open mind reaps bigger rewards-hell, my itunes library would last 15 years allegedly, so, what is subba all about, quite simply, mine’s bigger than yours. So this week we bring you interviews with returning rock n rollers The Bronx (live now), leftfield pop oddballs Deerhoof, Americana legends Giant Sand, New Zealand’s The Datsuns & subba top tips for 09 Wave Machines. We review the darn right amazing Call of Duty 5: World At War, Smackdown Vs Raw 2009, Spongebob Squarepants: Globs of Doom & Bratz: Girlz Really Rock (in time for xmas shopping). We review the Di Caprio led Body of Lies, boxing fest Thriller in manila, Man Utd Annual ’09, Murray Walker’s Motorsport Madness & Flood. Whilst bringing you front row reports from live shows by Vampire Weekend, Ra Ra Riot, Fleet Foxes, Antony and the Johnsons, Hokaben Festival, Justice, The Presets, Fake Blood, Micah P Hinson, Cold War Kids, The Paddingtons & the usual smorgasbord of album reviews for Coldplay, Megapuss, Los Campesinos!, Kirameki, ZTT Box Set, the Smiths, Justice, Stereophonics, Moby, Be True to Your School, The Miserable Rich, Fabriclive 43, Kelli Ali, Random Conflict, Castanets, Gagarin, Nunbient One, Status Quo, The Wellingtons & The Best of James Bond. Enjoy!
